In 2006, Terry Labonte will keep his partial racing schedule, driving the No. 44 Kellogg's Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Hendrick Motorsports at select races on the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series circuit. In 2005, Labonte dubbed his abbreviated race schedule, "Shifting Gears - Lone Star Style," and competed in 11 events that included the NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge, the Brickyard 400 and both NASCAR Cup Series races at his "home" track, Texas Motor Speedway.
