Memorial Day Weekend is always thrilling for race fans at Lowe’s® Motor Speedway. This year, a special celebration of America’s military personnel takes place with the American Heroes Program! Denny Hamlin and FedEx Freight Chevy join the celebration of American Heroes with a special paint scheme representing the U.S. Marine Corp on the No. 11 Chevrolet. Hamlin’s machine has a black base with red accents. Featured on the hood is the U.S. Marine Corps emblem.
Denny Hamlin was the class of the rookie field in the 2006 NEXTEL Cup, netting two wins, qualifying for the Chase and finishing third in points! In commemoration of Hamlin’s Raybestos Rookie of the Year Honors, a new die-cast has been created. The #11 FedEx Express carries the same paint scheme as Hamlin’s '06 standard but includes the Raybestos Rookie of the Year official logo.

on the hood, rear quarter panels and decklid.
For the first time in its long history, the PGA will introduce a playoff system utilizing a points system and will consist of a regular season, playoffs and championship. FedEx, will sponsor the tour championship, deemed the FedEx Cup.
To celebrate this new era in golf, Hamlin will sport a new paint scheme at the fall Atlanta race, a track in close proximity to the famed home of The Masters – Augusta. The new look features outlines of golf balls and the FedEx Cup logo on the hood.
Rookie Denny Hamlin completed the sweep at Pocono in 2006 and this raced version commemorates that event with the raced version of the FedEx Kinkos.

This special scheme will be white and features the dog like the FedEx Home Delivery trucks. It will run at the Pepsi 400 Night Race at Daytona.
On February 12, 2006, Denny Hamlin lived a rookie's dream when he collected his first NEXTEL Cup Series victory in the Bud Shootout, a preseason, non-points event. With a little help from his teammate Tony Stewart, Hamlin lead 16 of the 21 laps in the race, which was extended for a green-white-checkered flag finish. With the win, Hamlin becomes only the fifth driver ever to win the Shootout race in his first attempt. This Raced Version replica of Hamlin's winning the No. 11 FedEx Express Chevrolet includes all the post-race "bumps and bruises", shredded tire and damaged fender.
