Fathers Day 1999, Dale Earnhardt Sr. & Jr. raced to the line finishing 1-2 at the Michigan Super Speedway.

This was the closest finish in IROC history .007 sec, Dale Sr. taking the win and Dale Jr. a very close second.

Dale Sr. said it best, "you couldn't write a better script !"
