This season, in an effort to honor all our military heroes, NASCAR will unite in an industry-wide initiative that supports military families at home and abroad!
The "NASCAR: An American Salute" program will bring together the sport's biggest names not only to race for a win, but also to show appreciation and thanks to our military for their sacrifice and dedication in protecting our country and our freedom! Beginning with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26th and again at the Coke Zero 400 on July 6th at Daytona International Speedway, the sport's most popular drivers will run special patriotic paint schemes that salute our active troops and honor our veterans!

Aflac returns as the primary sponsor for the Roush Fenway Racing driver for multiple races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. This popular sponsor will sport a bold new look on the brand new Ford Fusion stock body!

Carl Edwards will have the power of UPS logistics behind him when he races for the win at Kentucky Speedway. For one race only, Edwards will wheel the #99 UPS Ford Fusion when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns for its second race in the Bluegrass State – a place where Edwards notched a top five finish in 2011.
We are excited to offer the NASCAR Unites: An American Salute program. For the first time ever, the NASCAR community is coming together for an all-encompassing salute to America. The program will run from the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway through the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Many drivers will sport special red, white and blue paint schemes and/or carry special competition elements.
In 2012, Carl Edwards will drive the #99 Fastenal Ford Fusion for 17 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. A primary sponsor of Edwards' Nationwide car for the past two seasons, Fastenal will now be a major partner on the Cup side when the Roush driver takes the track next year.
