Cale Yarborough '12 "Hall of Fame" The epitome of a racer's racer, Cale Yarborough captured three consecutive NASCAR Premier Series titles. Between 1976 and 1978, Yarborough dominated the sport's elite level. He won 28 races - nine in 1976, nine in '77 and 10 in '78. His final championship points margin in those three years was never fewer than 195 points and was as much as 474 in 1978. |

Tenn. Motor Co" '69 Torino Talladega David Pearson, who is without a doubt one of the five best drivers in the history of stock car racing, is the 2nd in the University of Racing Legends series. David is number two on the all time win list, has the second most pole position starts and has the third highest winning percentage in the history of the sport. David won 105 times and has three championships, the last coming in this car. The 1st diecast in the Legends series (Bobby Allison) was a sell out and is now very hard to find. The autographed version will have David's signature on the black hood. Includes Certificate of Authenticity. |

Donnie Allison "East
Point Ford" 1969
#27 Torino Cobra Future Delivery
Jan / Feb '13 Donnie is possibly most remembered for his involvement in a final-lap crash and subsequent fight with Cale Yarborough at the 1979 Daytona 500. Allison managed to get ten wins in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition with his first coming at the 1968 Carolina 500 at Rockingham Speedway and his final at the 1978 Dixie 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Allison would suffer serious injuries at the 1981 Coca Cola 600, this would end his career in NASCAR for the most part. Allison would only race fourteen more Winston Cup races (he would also fail to qualify four times for races during this time) from 1982 to 1988. Allison would also win the 1967 NASCAR Grand National Rookie of the Year. |

Mario Andretti "Bunnell
Motor Co" 1968 Mercury Cyclone Andretti competed in fourteen NASCAR Grand National / Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) events in his career. He competed in Holman Moody cars for his final ten events. Holman Moody was one of NASCAR's most successful teams at that time, as the team won NASCAR championships in 1968 and 1969 with driver David Pearson. Andretti won the 1967 Daytona 500 for Holman Moody. |

Darrell Waltrip "Terminal
Transport" 1971 Mercury Cyclone Darrell Waltrip's storied Winston Cup Career began in May 1972 at the Talladega Motor Speedway in Alabama. Waltrip rolled onto the track in a 1971 #95 Mercury Cyclone prepared by Holman Moody. Ironically, the chassis of this car was that of the original 1967 Ford Fairlane Mario Andretti drove to victory in the 1967 Daytona 500. The car was owned by Waltrip and sponsored by Terminal Transport of Owensboro, Kentucky. |

Motor Co." 1969 Mercury University of Racing Legends is excited to announce it's seventh release, LeeRoy Yarborough. In 1969, driving for Junior Johnson, LeeRoy set a record with seven speedway victories. Yarborough won the Daytona 500 followed by wins in the Rebel 400 at Darlington, the World 600 at Charlotte, the Firecracker 400 at Daytona, the Dixie 500 in Atlanta and the Southern 500 for a clean sweep at Darlington and the American 500 in Rockingham. AJ Foyt "Don Wagner
Ford" 1969 Torino Cobra Foyt only needed 10 races to get his first NASCAR victory. Richard Petty dominated the 1964 Firecracker 400 until he went out with engine problems. Foyt swapped the lead with Bobby Isaac for the final 50 laps of the summer event at the Daytona International Speedway. Foyt passed Isaac on the final lap to win the race. Foyt ran out of gas near the end of the 1971 Daytona 500, and Petty passed him for the win. Foyt again had the car to beat in the 1972 Daytona 500, but this time succeeded in a dominating performance. Only three drivers led during the race. Foyt won the 1971 and 1972 races at the Ontario Motor Speedway for Wood Brothers Racing. The 1972 race was his last NASCAR win. |

William Caleb "Cale" Yarborough
(born March 27, 1939), is a farmer, businessman and former
NASCAR
Winston Cup Series driver
and owner. He is one of only two drivers in NASCAR history
to win three consecutive championships. He was the first
NASCAR driver to appear on the cover of
Sports Illustrated
His 83 wins places him at number
six on the all-time NASCAR winner's list (behind
Bobby Allison and
Darrell Waltrip, who are
tied for fourth with 84). His 14.82% winning percentage is
the ninth best all-time and third among those with 500 or
more starts. Yarborough won the
Daytona 500 four times; his
first win coming in 1968 for the
Wood Brothers, the second
in 1977 for
Junior Johnson, and
back-to-back wins in 1983 and 1984. In 1984, he became the
first driver to qualify for the
Daytona 500 with a top
speed of more than 200 miles per hour. Yarborough is a three
time National Motorsports Press Association Driver of the
Year (1977, 1978, 1979).
